James Garvey

He acts on behalf of a number of social landlords in connection with litigation, leasehold, housing management and property work. He also provides advice on residential and commercial property and acts on behalf of a range of property owners in the purchase and sale of commercial property and the purchase and sale of commercial businesses. He has been described in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as “consistently spot on and quick to respond with thorough and detailed information” and as having the ability to “communicate very technical information in a comprehensive way”.

James has Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Law from Coventry and London; admitted as a solicitor in January 1983; has been a Board Member and former Vice Chair of a Housing Association, a Board member and former Chair of a London Residents management company.
